Public school workers are organizing for the schools our students deserve, and you can help! By becoming a Community Ally with the Durham Association of Educators (DAE), parents, caregivers, and community members can stand in solidarity with educators and staff to strengthen our public schools.
Recurring monthly donations of any amount are especially appreciated for our budgeting purposes!
What Does It Mean to Be a DAE Community Ally?
- Your support stays local – Every contribution directly funds organizing efforts here in Durham.
- Non-political giving – Community ally contributions are not used for political action work.
- Advocacy, not membership – Community Allies are not voting members of DAE, NCAE, or NEA and do not participate in elections or internal decision-making.
- Flexible support – You choose how much and how often to contribute. Contributions are not tax-deductible.
