Meet and Confer is workers’ collective voice through their union. This hard-won policy, the first of its kind in North Carolina, recognizes DAE as the employee representative organization (ERO) that will bring workers’ top issues to decision-makers in the district. This year, 13 democratically-elected M&C representatives will hold seven meetings with the district to recommend policy changes that will improve our working conditions and student learning conditions.
