Over the 2018-2019 summer, DAE held four study sessions where members and other public education supporters were able to dig into material about the Labor Movement and Teacher Unions. Participants discussed the history of teacher unionism, the position of teacher unions within the larger labor movement, and envision a new public education system where our students have the schools they deserve.
